MY STORY

I am a functional Potter currently working out of North Caldwell New Jersey. I Graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art Spring of 2017 with a BFA in Ceramics.

I love creating pottery because It brings beauty into everyday life. Living with and using hand-made pottery on a daily basis allows us to slow down, appreciate the food we eat and the people we are sharing it with. I enjoy making tableware because it brings people together over a meal. My fondest memories are ones shared with others at a dinner table. I am inspired by nature both in the warm and natural colors I choose for my tableware but also in the form of indoor planters. I enjoy the way that plants bring nature and beauty into our lives. I find caring for plants is its own form of meditation allowing us to feel calm and connected to nature.  

Mostly, I make work that inspires me, objects that I want in my own life and it makes me happy when others get joy from these pieces the way I do.
